Twitter & Professionals: A friendship for convenience




Several reasons exist for which the twitter use can be important for a professional.

By the middle of the 90, Bill Gates said that internet was like a tide and the one that didn't learn how to swim in her would die drowned. Unfortunately, as all the predictions related with the technology, it was short: it is no longer conceived the world and the life without the interaction and the tons of information that offer us the diverse devices within our reach.

And as everything in the life, it exists a positive side and a negative side. The diffusion of pictures "compromising" or messages incendiaries among people that think different they occupy most of those "timeline"(1)

However, for professionals have numerous positive aspects:

- It is free and easy to use. In five minutes you can enter to an integrated world (to March of 2013) for 200 million users.

- It is a tool of personal diffusion. Among their contacts it can develop - besides friends - new clients and new labor relationships, to publish the novelties of their company or their currículum, to find adherent to a cause, to obtain comments and suggestions.

- It increases the traffic of their page web, blog or facebook profile. Those "twitts" linked to their address the potential visitors or clients they increase, much more than the random possibilities that somebody arrives to their place looking for a specific topic in Google.

- It connects him inside an area of interest. It can contact to other twitter's inside their same area of interest or profession, finding new labor possibilities or commercial partners.

- Increase of sales and new clients. They can be carried out campaigns, competitions and to offer promotions, all that increases our diffusion and our presence in the web. At the present time companies that  pay to famous people exist so that they promote their products through twitter.

- Direct communication. Most of the companies that possess twitter bill respond quickly before the consultations or comments. It is for it that many companies have transferred their service to the client to their twitter bill, what is also beneficial for the clients, because any company with hundred of followers' thousands wants to dilate an answer before one or several birdcalls in view of everybody.
